About me
I am on a mission to spread the joy of quilting.
To many people, a quilt is simply a blanket, but it is so much more! It is the investment in supplies, the time spent sewing it together with love and intention sewn into every seam, along with a little cheap therapy!
My mission is twofold:
- To teach beginners to quilt so you can make your first quilt, and
- To provide a welcoming, safe space completely free of judgment, because I have no time for visits from The Quilt Police!

In 2023 I decided to begin teaching online via YouTube. I taught my first workshop in April and I will be launching my learn to quilt course, The Quilting Quickstart, very soon.

my philosophy
I truly believe that "close enough is good enough" and "a finished quilt is better than a perfect quilt." Both of these quotes are from long arm quilter, Angela Walters. Quilting should be fun and not boring.

At Coffee First Quilt Crew you can learn to quilt, move on to more difficult techniques when you are ready, take part in our judgment-free community and chill.
